New hobby for Michelle and me that started as a result of celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary in Feb this year, Motorbike riding. For our 20th Anniversary, we got a scooter and our bike licenses. So for our 30th, we decided to go to the next level and get a couple of bikes.

This is my daughter Eden and I riding last weekend.

Thanks for the inspiration patients and friends Brad Smith, Allan Burdon, Nick and Susie Wheatley, Mick Krammer, and many more. WE LOVE IT!

Here are the top three things that have made a difference in my week.
They might also be useful for you, or not.

1) A book I read..

4000 Weeks

Embrace your limits. Change your life. Make your four thousand weeks count. This is a book that will ignite a spark in your soul and get you moving towards living your best life! Author Oliver Burkeman takes the average human lifespan and breaks it down into an easily digestible number of weeks - 4000! That's it, guys! So why waste a single second of it?

This book is a reminder that time is our most valuable resource, and we need to make every moment count. With insights from psychology, philosophy, and other fields, he shows us how to live intentionally and create a life that is full of meaning and purpose.

But don't worry, this book isn't just a bunch of boring advice. Burkeman's writing style is witty, inspiring, and bloody funny! Importantly he shows you how to overcome procrastination and make the most of your relationships. Highly recommended guys.

Ps. Part of the inspiration for the new bikes.

2) An adventure I had...

Mystery Picnic for a “Date Day”

Michelle and I recently tried out AmazingCo's Mystery Picnic experience, and it was an absolute blast! The concept was unique - we received a series of clues and riddles to solve in order to figure out the location of our picnic as well as collect the ingredients along the way. The added element of mystery made it all the more exciting.

We did this on our bikes, but a car would be just as much fun. The best part was that AmazingCo took care of all the logistics, so we didn't have to worry about anything. It was the perfect way to do a “date day” out.

3) New fitness App I’m using with my mates...

HevyApp

This is a great app that helps you track, record and understand your workouts. Specifically designed for strength workouts, it will help you design the perfect workout for your fitness goals. I use it to share my workouts with a group of mates who are connected on WhatsApp. We share our workouts, runs, hikes, bike rides etc to keep each other motivated and on track with looking after our bodies.

Super important to find a group of like-minded people that will challenge you, champion you, and inspire you to stay on track. Who do you have championing you at the moment?

I wish you all the best on your journey, make a ritual of looking for the gold in your life, it is there, you just got to look.

P.s. The quote of the week is...

“There is a limit to how much you can embrace a moment. But there is no limit to how much you can appreciate it.” - Armin Houman

I would love your feedback on what had an impact on you and the lesson in it, the moral of the story, or the learning you would share.

Have a ripper finish to your week.
