Are you doing what matters?
A weekend away that came with a sparkly surprise!
Here are the top three things that have made a difference in my week.
They might also be useful for you, or not.
We all acknowledge the value of a healthy life, yet we hesitate when it comes to allocating our hard-earned money for its sustenance. The costs can weigh heavily, from medical bills to gym memberships and nutritious food. While the costs of maintaining good health can strain our budgets, it's crucial to realize that investing in health is investing in a future where we can live fully, pursue our passions, and contribute meaningfully to the world. Shifting our perspective, viewing these financial allocations as investments rather than expenses, allows us to embrace the genuine value of our health and make informed choices that prioritize our well-being, understanding it as our most priceless asset.
2) Personal growth reminder...
Personal growth isn't just about individual progress—it's about how we relate to and connect with the world around us. Empathy, compassion, and understanding others' perspectives play crucial roles in this journey. Through introspection, I've recognized the importance of fostering meaningful relationships, and the profound impact they have on shaping my growth. Learning from others, being open to diverse viewpoints, and acknowledging the vastness of human experiences have expanded my horizons, enriching my personal growth in ways I couldn't have achieved alone
A weekend getaway to the beach house along the Great Ocean Road was an absolute soul refresher. The vibrant hues of the ocean road, from the deep blues of the ocean to the lush greens of the coastal foliage. Being amidst the beauty of the natural world is a reminder of life's simplicity and the profound sense of peace that comes from embracing it. It's incredible how a few days in such a serene environment can rejuvenate the soul.
P.s. The quote of the week is...
"Be present in all things and thankful for all things." — Maya Angelou
I would love your feedback on what had an impact on you and the lesson in it, the moral of the story, or the learning you would share.
Have a ripper finish to your week.
Are you doing what matters?
Cheers, Dr. Ben
