My Vegan Mexican Chipotle Bean and Mushroom Burrito. One of my many new recipes over the last week as I trial a purely plant-based diet. Having been Vegan many years ago it’s not totally foreign but a fair shift for me being Keto-Paleo for the last 10 years. I have committed to the experiment for 2 weeks to see how well it fits my lifestyle. If it feels right, I will continue for another month and keep re-assessing as we go. Read below to find out why I have started my Vego journey.


Here are the top three things that have made a difference in my week.

1) A movie I watched...

The Game Changers. Remember my Vegan mate Carl? Well, he booked me in for the Premier. Produced by James Cameron, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jackie Chan, Lewis Hamilton, Novak Djokovic, and Chris Paul, The Game Changers tells the story of James Wilks — elite Special Forces trainer and The Ultimate Fighter winner — as he travels the world on a quest to uncover the optimal diet for human performance.

Showcasing elite athletes, special ops soldiers, visionary scientists, cultural icons, and everyday heroes, what James discovers permanently changes his understanding of food and his definition of true strength. His findings explain why I’m Vego this fortnight.

Be warned they use some “out there” methods to back their argument for vegetables, including measuring frequency and size of nighttime erections of three male subjects on a meat diet vs a plant diet. I’ll let you watch it to find out the results.



2)Something awesome a client is doing...

The Animal Au Pair. This fantastic service one of my business coaching clients Peter has created allows your animals to stay home whilst you are away and be looked after. No more dumping your furry family member off at the minimum-security prison for animals. Instead, they get to stay home in the luxury they are used to and get looked after by Peter their Au Pair. 3) A cool thing I’m implementing in the practice...

Finger-Ink. You know when you go to the doctor, or specialist and you have to fill out a poorly photocopied paper intake form where the first question is your name address and DOB, even though you gave it to them on the phone. Well, Finger-Ink is a great piece of software that integrated with our Client Management System and allows us to have clients fill out forms electronically that then integrates straight into the system. Any information we already have on the client is already auto filled out on the form. So cool. We hope to have this fully integrated by next week, so no more paper.
