3 THINGS THURSDAY - 17th Oct 2019

Pic of the Week

Not one that I took, but an image that captured a world first. Eliud Kipchoge became the first athlete to run a marathon (42km) in under two hours after successfully completing the Ineos 1:59 challenge with a historic run in Vienna. Bloody amazing achievement considering he ran at an average pace of 21km/h the whole way. Ouch! One of the things that gave him an advantage was the runners he used. See my No. 1 thing this week.

Here are the top three things that have made a difference in my week.
They might also be useful for you, or not.

1) A pair of runners I bought...

Nike Fly 3 Runners. The only similarity between Kipchoge and myself is that we now both use the same runners. These cool looking shoes have a carbon fiber plate in them that helps absorb the impact and return it to you as you toe off during your stride. They are super light and are finished with a new transparent upper that's designed to provide a secure racing fit without absorbing sweat. Lookout sub 5-hour marathon here I come.

2) Something I need your HELP with...

Help Me Decide My New Book CoverI am about to redesign my book cover and I need to pick a main color. I would love you to click the link above and tell me your top two choices. The Survey will take you 49sec to complete and it's completely anonymous. Please, please, please it will take you less than a minute.

3) A book I got out again...

The 1-Page Marketing Plan. It's by a great mate of mine Allan Dib. He is a local guy who has made it big with this book. The principles of it are to build a successful business, you need to stop doing random acts of marketing and start following a reliable plan for rapid business growth. Allan is now an international speaker with his book being in the top 3 Amazon Marketing books world wide. If you haven't got a copy get one. It will revolutionize your business.

I recommend this book to all my business coaching clients

Ps. I HAVE 10 COPIES TO GIVE AWAY. Just email me and I’ll save you one.

Pss. My favorite quote this week is: “Grit is living life like it's a marathon, not a sprint” - Angela Duckworth

I would love your feedback on what had an impact on you and the lesson in it, moral of the story, or learning you would share.

Have a ripper finish to your week.

Cheers, Dr. Ben
