This selfie was taken during a coaching session this week with my coach. I’m always amazed that clients and patients are amazed that as a chiropractor I see a chiropractor every week for a checkup and that as a coach for business owners I also have a coach that helps keep me on track with being on purpose and productive. I believe in the philosophy of sharpening the saw. That with use the saw gets blunt and that you need to proactively sharpen it. My coach, chiropractor, fasting, exercise, hanging out with people that champion you and reading good books helps keep me sharp. I’m curious, could you do with sharpening?


Here are the top three things that have made a difference in my week.

1) A great TV series a client of mine recommended...

Living With Yourself.Great TV series that follows the story of a man who, after undergoing a mysterious treatment that promises him the allure of a better life, discovers that he has been replaced by a cloned version of himself. For me, the moral of the story is that if you want your life to get better, if you want people around you to treat you better, become a better version of yourself. 2) Something I did this week...

A 5 Day Fast. At the time of you reading this I will have fasted for just under 5 days (110 hours). The physical feeling of long fasts is fantastic, whilst mentally it can be tough, especially around social situations and at times when there is raised level of stress. Check out THIS great summary of the benefits of 5-day fasts. My strategy is fast during the working week, as it helps keep you occupied. Get to bed early and drink lots of water or hot veggie broth. I still treat myself coffee and tea to avoid caffeine withdrawal. My recommendation is to start with a 24 hour fast with a buddy and build up from there.


3) A great app I’ve been using...

I use it to stay in touch with my VA Kei especially over things that are urgent.
