3 THINGS THURSDAY - 4th June 2020

Pic of the Week

This is a pic is of my middle daughter Eden. Eden has joined us at the practice, working as a chiropractic assistant on Wednesdays and Fridays. Eden has been immersed in the Philosophy, Principles and Practice of chiropractic since day one. Having been adjusted since she was born, there is no better person to talk all things chiropractic with.

Eden is an enthusiastic (2nd year) chiropractic student at RMIT University with big aspiring dreams of running her own practice one day. Her goal is to make a positive change in the health of the community and in doing so decided to work as a Chiropractic Assistant alongside Dr. Ben and Dr. Callum. Eden always has a smile on her face and is here to help you be the best version of you.

Here are the top three things that have made a difference in my week.
They might also be useful for you, or not.

1) A cool podcast from some good friends of mine...

Gines and Matt - Life Long Learner. What I love about this podcast and its 20min episodes is the feel. It feels like 2 guys sitting by a campfire with a bottle of red discussing a life challenge. Easy listening, yet thought-provoking. When in chillout mode a great one to checkout.

2) Two amazing experiences I had today...

Gifts from Clients. This morning I was given a book from a client to give to my son Logan. Massively thoughtful after my client had heard about my son Logan’s entrepreneurial efforts on one of our Mentor Live sessions. It's a book called Leap - Do you have what it takes to be an entrepreneur. I haven’t read it but Logan was heading off to bed tonight with the book in hand. Then this afternoon I received another book from a client with a beautiful card to say thanks for being part of his life journey. Amazing! The book was so relevant being titled Relationology: 101 Secrets to grow your business through the power of relationships. I haven’t read it yet but I’m about to head off to bed with it in hand.

3) Another kind of milk I tried...

Yup, Macadamia Milk. I was at a cafe on Tuesday morning grabbing a coffee and a guy ordered an almond latte. They had just run out, I then heard “Would you like a Macadamia Milk Latte?”. Yep, you can now get Macadamia nut milk in your coffee. I just had to try it.

It was good, in fact, better than almond. Wanting to be a little exotic and different order a macadamia nut latte, I dare you.

Ps. A quote I love...

“Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.” Francis of Assisi

I would love your feedback on what had an impact on you and the lesson in it, moral of the story, or learning you would share.

Have a ripper finish to your week.

Cheers, Dr. Ben
