Pic of the Week

Michelle and I got a last-minute invite to attend a fake wedding on Saturday. It was for a heap of promo photo’s for a new wedding venue and accommodation place called Butterfly Redhill. It was fantastic, they had a pizza van (see below), DJ, drinks and a heap of fake guests. At the time of the call, I was relaxing on the bed watching an episode of The Last Dance (worth checking out). It would have been easy just to continue doing nothing, but we decided to leap into action, get dolled up, and have some fun. Sometimes it's easy not to, but also easy to. I wonder where you could say YES, next time?

Here are the top three things that have made a difference in my week.
They might also be useful for you, or not.

1) Something I watched this week on YouTube...

How "normal people" can train like the world’s best endurance athletes.

This randomly came into my YT feed. It’s about why “no pain no gain” is a slick slogan, but a fundamentally flawed approach to getting faster and fitter over time. Stephen Seiler has spent years studying the training habits of great endurance athletes. What he discovered has shattered the myths he grew up with in the US. Let him tell you why going “green” is also important for building endurance sustainably. If you’re training and breaking down more than you would like, it’s worth a look.

2) A terrific catering option I discovered...

Twelve-nine Catering. This great old van will turn up at your home a couple of hours before the party and fire up their wood fired pizza oven, and cook some of the best tasting genuine Italian pizzas you’ve ever tasted. Whilst it may not seem cheap at first glance if you’ve got a big crowd to feed (30+ people) and you want to take the stress out of catering these guys might be a great option.

3) Another great guest to my Thrive Boardroom...

Jaemin FrazerA great guy and mate who specialises in the topic of INSECURITY. Ouch! I know what you might be thinking. “I know a few insecure people” or you're thinking “at times I feel insecure”. Well in our last mentor Live Session (Part of my Thrive Boardroom) Jaemin gave our group a deep dive into the 7 keys to understanding your insecurities and how to resolve them. Fascinating. It caused some heated debate in my home, over the family dinner table that night. Check him out. Even better message me and I’ll get you details on how you can get direct access to people like Jaemin and more by joining my Thrive Boardroom.

Ps. Speaking of pizza, quote of the week is...

“If you really want to make a friend, go to someone's house and eat with him... The people who give you their food give you their heart.” - Cesar Chavez

I would love your feedback on what had an impact on you and the lesson in it, moral of the story, or learning you would share.

Have a ripper finish to your week.
