Pic of the Week

Simple pleasures. Date night Friday this week, we went out for dinner at the Girl and Bull restaurant in Mt Eliza. Well, we pretended we did. Instead of the usual takeaway, we treated ourselves to some luxury takeaway from the Girl and Bull, and a nice bottle of French wine. Importantly though we set the environment up to support the evening, restaurant background music, candles, dim lighting, fancy glasses plates, etc. with the food served out of foil containers. Interestingly we found ourselves having “going out” conversations. I think we will do it again.


Here are the top three things that have made a difference in my week.

1) Great TED Talk on breath...

Change your breath, change your life. This great short talk by Lucas Rockwood, explains the benefits of breath in changing your state. He uses three types of breathwork each of which you can do in less than 5min. Water, Whisky and Coffee Breathing. The power of breath is talked about a lot these days and yet many of us still don't tap its simple yet powerful benefits. Take a look at the video and give them a go.


2) A new member of the team at 12/1140 Nepean Hwy...

3) A Great speaker in my Thrive Boardroom this week that left me uplifted…

Ziggy. Every two weeks our Thrive boardroom gets to hear from an expert in an area of life and business. This week we had Ziggy the CEO of 3P Corporation who describes himself as a holistic wealth creator, author and entrepreneur. He has a passion for the human side of money and is driven by his organisation’s motto of Passion - People – Prosper. And this week he certainly bought the PASSION. One of those speakers who leaves you uplifted. He also wrote the Amazon best seller Money DOES Grow on Trees! Ziggy is like a Greek grounded version of Richard Simmons.
