3 THINGS THURSDAY - 27 Apr 2023

Over the weekend my husband Chris and I drove up to Silvan to go see the beautiful display of flowers at the Tesselaar Kabloom.

We are very much outdoor people, being outside and one with nature is one of our favorite things to do
!


Here are the top three things that have made a difference in my week.
They might also be useful for you, or not.


1) Something that I'm getting back into...

Pilates

Pilates has been a big part of my life recently, however in the last 6 months as some of you may know I've been caught up by planning my wedding. During this time everything went out the door. I suddenly lost track of all things that I used to prioritize. This is finally about to change! The last 2 weeks I've finally reached back out to my physio … Yes my physio, to get back on track! Now, back in the groove of things I've never felt better! There is something about moving your body and getting that rush of energy afterwards. Pilates is great for those that want great slow controlled movement but also want a sweaty session!


2) Something I'm loving...

HelloFresh

Thinking of what to make for dinner every single day is probably one of the most daunting thoughts I personally have. I can never think of something, I can never be prepared enough too. My Hubby is a podiatrist, so we have very similar work hours so when we get home, have a conversation about what we want to eat, checking if we have the ingredients then actually cooking, by the time we have dinner it's probably around 9.30pm :(.

Then we discovered HelloFresh and it's amazing!!! We choose our meals a week before delivery, the food is delivered in labeled paper bags (reminiscent of my lunch bags back in primary school) with every ingredient you possibly need down to the spices and individual garlic cloves! It's made our life so much easier! Healthy and home cooked meals all in one! How can one go wrong!

Ps: Did I mention that this has cutdown both time and money that we need to spend at the grocery store!

3) Something new I'm trying...

Nutritionist

As some may know we have an amazing nutritionist, Bec who has just joined our team! Now since I've decided to take my life back and get things back on track, there was no better time to start looking after me from the insides too! Only one consultation so far, but have I noticed a difference!! From simple lifestyle changes and additions, I'm getting a better night's sleep, my menstrual cycle is regulated and I'm blooming with energy… Yes even in the mornings before my well loved coffee! I'm excited to see what comes next, and I guess I'll keep you in the loop too!


Super important to find a group of like-minded people that will challenge you, champion you, and inspire you to stay on track. Who do you have championing you at the moment?


I wish you all the best on your journey, make a ritual of looking for the gold in your life, it is there, you just got to look.
